Gel Coat Whitener can be used with confidence on gelcoat. It will not damage embrittle or soften gelcoat. This product is NOT an all boat cleaner.
Gel Coat Whitener can be used on indoor/outdoor and vertical and horizontal gelcoat surfaces. Always test on small test area and ensure product will not run, cross over or contact non gelcoat surfaces.
Once GCW is applied do nothing. Dwell time 20 minutes. You will evidence positive results early however 20 minutes dwell time is essential to ensure salts and chlorides are removed from the Gelcoat. Remember Gelcoat is porous and as such: dirt, salts, chlorides and other do penetrate.
Hose or light pressure wash of GCW. H2O will neutralize GCW. GCW is a liquid product

Removal:
Hose off. High pressure is not required. Allow to dry. If some product runs on to the anti-fouling coating GCW will wash off once vessel is returned to the water.
Vessel owner is best placed determine if the vessel requires a new wax and polish following use of GCW.
Always dispose containers and unused product according to Commonwealth, State or local government regulations.
Airless Sprayer or Brush.
Once applied leave the product alone. DO NOT rub or agitate the product whilst on the vessel. No physical labour is required.
Gel Coat Whitener will NOT have any negative impact on the gelcoat.
GCW should be left on surfaces for at least 5-20 minutes. Dwell time will vary based on contaminants and other on the gelcoat surface being cleaned and amount of contamination. Agitation is not normally required for increased surface profiling and stubborn stain removal. Very old or stubborn stains may require additional product or applications for complete removal.
Always thoroughly read all product material before using the product. Do not alter, mix or dilute this product with other chemicals. Do not swallow. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective clothing, a mask, rubber gloves and safety goggles. Use only in well ventilated areas.
